A Universidade de Viena encontra-se desenvolveu, em conjunto com a Direção-Geral de Educação de Viena e com uma equipa de peritos internacionais, a ferramenta Inclusive Assessment Map – I AM. Trata-se de uma ferramenta de fácil utilização, representando um apoio prático para os professores implementarem as adaptações necessárias no ambiente educativo dos alunos, por forma a aumentar a sua participação. O I AM foi desenvolvido com base numa revisão da literatura que permitiu identificar suportes para diferentes áreas de dificuldades académicas e sociais.

BEHAVE app

Description
The BEHAVE application is a tool to easily gather data and evaluate the effect size of behavioural interventions. The BEHAVE application supports the management of problem behaviours through the creation of costum measures, the operational definition of a behaviour, the collection of behavioural data, and the comparison between baseline and intervention conditions. The application provides users with features to interpret the results both with visual comparison of data represented through scatter plots and with statistical analyses.

Projeto Inclusive Assessment Map

Description
The specific purpose of this project is to promote teachers in their role as key actors in realizing inclusive education. An innovative assessment tool (‘Inclusive Assessment Map – I AM’) will be developed that provides strong guidance for teachers how to create school environments in order to be inclusive places. The tool I AM will be based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health for Children and Youth (ICF-CY). It will jointly be developed by a team of international experts from both university and practice. The output will be practical for key actors in the field of education, and its effects are expected to have important implications for policy makers and researchers.

Projeto BEHAVE
