Food literacy has been gaining prominence in the field of nutrition and food research, due to its recognition as a key factor in the health of populations. Equally important is the promising approach that food literacy represents for dealing with complex public health problems. Now, if we recognise the importance of the ability to access, interpret and understand information related to food and nutrition, which is necessary for health promotion, then it is essential to strengthen science communication in this area. In conjunction with the IPVC's Communication and Image Office, a project was developed to Promote Healthy Eating and Science Communication, NUTRIPVC, producing a set of educational resources on various food, nutrition and health topics, in short video format, for dissemination on social media.

The Cemetery of Ancient Beaches of the Alcantilado de Montedor Local Natural Monument is the most diverse in terms of preserved geomorphological interests, with the residual, tectonic and coastal ones standing out. Other interests have been identified, such as fluvial, aeolian, periglacial and geocultural. This illustrated book, accessible to teachers, students and the general public, aims to highlight these points of interest in an appealing and scientifically correct way.

This ebook presents 19 curricular flexibilisation projects that were presented and validated by the Viana do Castelo Geopark team, covering various subjects in the 4 cycles of education at 9 public and private institutions.

Este livro começa por apresentar, sumariamente, os pressupostos e princípios que estiveram na base do processo de inventariação e avaliação da geodiversidade do concelho de Viana do Castelo, e que permitiram apurar a grande variedade de interesses geológicos conservados nomeadamente, o residual, o tectónico, o litoral, o fluvial, o eólico, o periglaciário, o paleontológico, o mineralógico, o ecológico e o geocultural. Estes interesses enquadram-se em 4 grandes temas: – O oceano primitivo | As montanhas litorais - instalação e evolução | Os ambientes do passado recente | O Homem no espaço geológico – que foram assinalados, por ordem de relevância, em cada monumento natural apresentado.
